Hi! I'm Cara.
I've been working with families for more than a decade - first as a tutor, then as a teacher. I created Young & Capable Tutoring to make it easier for families to access high quality tutoring services.
Looking for a tutor can make many parents / carers feel like they're a hiring manager. Families are commonly filtering through lists of tutors advertising ATAR scores, work experience, and qualifications. Add in differences in pay rates, subject offerings, and looking up reviews, and this quickly becomes overwhelming. It is not uncommon for families to go through four or more tutors, looking for the right fit.

A higher level of support serviced only by student teachers and registered teachers.

For home schooling families who would like ongoing curriculum support from a registered teacher.
We cater to a range of educational models, from families following the Australian Curriculum to those who are 'unschooling' their children.
